Tony Carter & Laura Carter
Coming from a busy life in Toronto, we finally arrived to our calling in Stratford in 1991. Laura, a "cook-a-holic" of Italian stock, and Tony, a graphic designer also from Toronto, by way of London, UK, of undetermined heritage.
We created Duggan Place in 1992 to provide a respite for guests in an often busy and fretful world. Strangers have become friends, as we've met people from all walks of life, and we look forward to meeting you, as well.

Jeremiah Duggan, a prominent merchant, owned and operated the largest department store this side of Toronto, J.A. Duggan Ltd, from 1883 until his death in 1936. He built this house in 1891 and it remains today as a heritage home.
